Cast glass bathroom sinks are produced by first filling a mold. The glass is placed in a special annealing oven, where it cools at a very controlled, slow pace – up to three days. A sink which is large and heavy needs time to “set up,” so flow lines (like ripples) can settle.
Pressed glass sinks are poured into a die and pressed or stamped, these sinks allow the designers to explore a variety of shapes and colors.
